Awkwafina An American singer and actress began with humorous rap tracks that dealt with issues of race and sexuality. Her fame grew into Hollywood following the release of several rap songs. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came via the trumpet. She also received Jazz and classical training before becoming a hip-hop teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism, and women's studies, and was studying Mandarin in Beijing for a time. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until the time she graduated. After gaining viral fame via the Internet and her own song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on the debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitche$. The second track linked into Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was an additional idea. Her resume contained both an the musician and author. She was now looking to further her career in acting. In addition to early shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed a number of breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released the EP in Fina We Trust.
