Richards was born in Penarth, Wales. She studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. After appearing in short films, she was cast in the S4C Welsh language magazine show Mosgito. She also appeared in short films. Her roles were frequently featured on BBC TV programs Crash and Being Human. 2nd of 2012 she was cast as an executive secretary, with an exaggerated English accent in Breaking In. [3] In the month of January, 2012 she was an actor in the show Breaking In. [4][5] She co-starred in the role of Sharon in Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego's horror film Open Grave, alongside Sharlto Copley. She played Barbara Kean on the FOX Television show Gotham from 2014 until 2019. She was also director for "The Trial of Jim Gordon", the fifth season's finale, which premiered 7 March 2019. [1][8The 8 FOX reports that she'll be playing alongside Max Brown (and John Hurt) in an unreleased independent feature film called That Good Night. She also appeared in The Quiet Ones and Open Grave as well as in the TV show Being Human in Britain. She resides in New York, Los Angeles and London.
