Teryl Rothery is an actress from Canada, who has appeared on television, stage and in film. Janet Fraiser, her role in Stargate SG-1 is what she is most well-known for. She co-starred with Grace Sherman in Cedar Cove, and has had major role as Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring in Arrow and Celia Hudson in Nancy Drew. She has appeared in many television movies. Rothery began dance lessons at age 9 and in 1995 looked upon this as the start of her career as an entertainer. The first of her professional performance opportunities as a performer took place in the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13[3] and also in the production of Marpole Community Theatre of The Sound of Music at age 14. When she was a child, she danced on The Irish Rovers variety television series,[2] and at age 18, she first appeared on TV with an Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television special for Halloween.
